Northamptonshire Manor House, Wine Room (850 bottles)

  • A bespoke, hardwood walnut wine room with natural finish and temperature control system.

  • Designed for a balanced wine collection to suit any occasion with storage for good, better and best wines.

  • Cubes are a great way of storing a selection of good, everyday drinking wines along with a magnum or two.

  • Racking, along with display bottles perfectly present better wines for entertaining and special occasions. The percentage of racking versus other storage options, very much depends on lifestyle and opportunities to open and enjoy better wines.

  • The final design aspect is space for best/investment wine. Sliding draws provide the perfect solution for the long term ageing of those special wooden cases in both full and half case formats. It also saves bonded warehousing fees whilst providing maximum enjoyment of the wines on display.

  • Dimmable LED lighting perfectly highlights wooden wine cases and bottle labels without damaging the wine over the long term. It also creates different mood settings especially at night, making even more of a feature of your wine room.

  • Wine room doors are both beautiful and practical. These doors are made from solid wood and colour matched to the house’s external Crittall doors. Extensive double glazed glass maximises viewing pleasure whilst helping to insulate the room. Pistons in the bottom of the door create a perfect air seal with the walnut flooring.
